Tolerance on Display

Sad that a 14 year old gets it when so many adults don't:

As the media keeps gushing on about how America has finally adopted tolerance as the great virtue, and that we're all united now, let's consider the Brave Catherine Vogt Experiment.
Catherine Vogt, 14, is an Illinois 8th grader, the daughter of a liberal mom and a conservative dad. She wanted to conduct an experiment in political tolerance and diversity of opinion at her school in the liberal suburb of Oak Park.
So just before the election, Catherine consulted with her history teacher, then bravely wore a unique T-shirt to school and recorded the comments of teachers and students in her journal. The T-shirt bore the simple yet quite subversive words drawn with a red marker:
"McCain Girl."
"I was just really curious how they'd react to something that different, because a lot of people at my school wore Obama shirts and they are big Obama supporters," Catherine told us. "I just really wanted to see what their reaction would be."
"People were upset. But they started saying things, calling me very stupid, telling me my shirt was stupid and I shouldn't be wearing it," Catherine said.
"One person told me to go die. It was a lot of dying. A lot of comments about how I should be killed," Catherine said, of the tolerance in Oak Park.
One student suggested that she be put up on a cross for her political beliefs.
Other entries in her notebook involved suggestions by classmates that she be "burned with her shirt on" for "being a filthy-rich Republican."
Some said that because she supported McCain, by extension she supported a plan by deranged skinheads to kill Obama before the election.

The Politics of Tolerance has been illusory at best. And all of us who have not supported the messiah have been slandered like this.

Since Barack is a "new" politician, any criticism of him has been labelled "divisive", "mean", or downright "raaaaaaacist". His supporters have been fanatics in exporting his "change", by force if neccessary!

Behind each one of these violent little Obama "change thugs", is a big violent Obama supporting "change thug" no doubt. Political stupidity in children comes from political stupidity in parents.

We have 4 years of this crap to look forward to.

It takes a lot to make me sick...

But this does it:

After allegedly starving their disabled daughter to death, the parents of Danieal Kelly turned around and sued the city for failing to protect the girl from them.
Andrea and Daniel Kelly, with the help of some greedy attorneys, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city, state and outside social service contractors who were charged with supervising Danieal while she was under her mother's care.

The civil suit seeks reimbursement for medical bills, funeral and administrative expenses. The suit said the parents and the siblings were deprived of Danieal's "love, tutelage, companionship, support, comfort and consortium."

So a dispicible family starves their child to death, and then has the balls to sue the city for not stopping their heinous acts? And reading the discription given, it seems even more awful:

The suit was filed a day after the couple was charged in the death of Danieal, 14, who weighed just 42 pounds when her bedsore-ridden and maggot-infested corpse was found in a squalid West Philadelphia rowhouse on a feces stained bed, where she lived with her mother and siblings.

All of the "problems" the family faces is of their own making. Medical bills? Funeral arrangements? Mental anguish? Lawyers for criminal charges? Well, none of this would be an issue if you fed the poor girl now and again, maybe given her a clean mattress, so she wouldn't get a disease or bedsores, and had generally taken care of her. Her death costs are because you killed her, and your legal problems are well deserved. That any lawyer would take this case is disgusting. Hopefully these ambulance chasers will join the parents in jail.

Reading the complaint, I'm reminded of a scene from the movie The Condemned. Steve Austin walks into a room full of corpses to find the bad guy after a brutal mass murder. Trying to justify himself, the murderer begins blaming others, "You don't know me. I've had a hard life!" To which Austin replies dismissively, "Well, lucky for you, it's over now." I think a similar response is in order here. To their cries of "I miss her so much! We have been deprived of her love and company." The quick response should be "Don't worry, you're going to join her shortly."

Authorities charge MO. woman for setting baby on fire

(KMOV/AP) - Authorities accuse a Missouri woman of setting her baby on fire. She is now facing four felony charges.
The incident happened July 11 in Iberia, Missouri.
The Miller County Prosecutor says Christina L. White, 24 intentionally tried to kill her six-month-old son when she set fire to his blanket as he lay in his crib.
Police responded to a house fire and saw White standing in the middle of the street holding a badly burned infant, wrapped in a blanket.
White is now facing a charge of first degree arson and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Investigators say White confessed to her sister that she committed the crime. The probable cause statement says she lit the blanket with a lighter and left the room, wanting her son to die because she was under stress.

She was stressed, which is, one of the major reasons women cite for abortions. As society gets more and more permissive of women killing their children for the simple reason of getting tired of them, this will become more and more common. She did little more than try to commit a 5th term abortion.

I use cases like this to test my pro-abortion friends. The question is always the same: "Why is this wrong?"

How can you justify abortion and not see this as the rights of the mother? The infant is completely dependant on the mother for survival, and is nothing but a drain on her...emotionally, financially, physically. There's no conscious thought, no memory worth mentioning. It can't communicate, and has no higher reasoning abilities. So why is it wrong?

This always, without exception, pisses off those who are ambivilant on abortion or are strongly for it. It pisses them off because it's The. Only. Logical. Extension. Of. Their. Position.

And make no mistake, it's not just nutjobs like Peter Sanger who are arguing in an obscure corner that babies aren't human, it's slowly...and disturbingly becoming policy.
From Roe vs Wade to Doe vs Bolton (now claimed by the "Doe" to be a fabrication of her lawyer), and beyond...the Supreme Court has done their part.
Through the joys of Partial Birth Abortion
Increasing world wide use of euthanasia for sick and defective children.
And the tripe of excusing murder on the grounds of depression....

It's not pleasant, but it's time the pro-abortion crowd are shown what their actions have wrought. Until we stop excusing women murdering their children because they're inconvenient, as the song goes..."The best is yet to come"...
